Day 1: Marrakech - High Atlas Mountains - Kasbah Tilouat - Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate

Start your journey in the Moroccan desert with a private reception from the airport or your accommodation in Marrakech. Then enjoy a drive through the magnificent High Atlas Mountains, where you will enjoy the breathtaking views and the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, which is considered one of the most beautiful mountain passes in the world. You will stop along the way to enjoy the wonderful panoramic views, and take souvenir photos with the breathtaking landscape. This trip will be a great start to your tour in the Moroccan desert

Next, we will visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a historic fortified village located in the heart of Morocco. This magnificent Kasbah has been listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and has been used as the backdrop for many popular films and TV series. After our visit to the Kasbah, we will move on to Ouarzazate, the gateway to the desert. There, we will spend the night in a comfortable hotel and prepare for the next journey.

Day 2 Ouarzazate - Agdz - Draa Valley - Merkoub - Merzouga Desert - Camel Ride - Night in a Luxury Camp

After breakfast, we will start our day exploring the city of Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Morocco. We will visit the Atlas Studios, where many famous films have been filmed, then we will visit the Kasbah of Taourirt, an ancient fortified mud citadel, considered one of the most beautiful kasbahs in Morocco. After that, we will head towards Agdz, where we will meet the Draa Valley, the longest river in Morocco. We will drive along the river and stop to enjoy the panoramic views of palm groves, magnificent kasbahs and Berber villages. Free time for lunch in Nkoub or Nif, where you can enjoy local food and breathtaking view

After lunch, we will continue our journey to the Merzouga desert via the city of Rissani. Upon reaching the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, we will move on to a camel ride to explore the Sahara Desert. We will reach the top of a large sand dune to watch the magical sunset, considered one of the most beautiful in the desert. Afterwards, we will continue our journey to the camp, which combines traditional Bedouin tents with modern luxury. At the camp, you can enjoy the music of Berber drums while dancing around the campfire, under an open sky full of bright stars. Dinner and overnight at the camp

Day 3: Explore Merzouga area - Bedouins - Khamlia Merzouga Lake - Palm Grove

We start our day by waking up before sunrise, to enjoy the magical sunrise in the middle of the desert. After breakfast, we will return on camels to Merzouga, where we will meet our driver. Today is dedicated to exploring the wonderful Merzouga region, which is characterized by its unique natural diversity. We will visit vast sand dunes, wild lakes, mines and excavation areas, in addition to picturesque oases. These amazing places provide ideal opportunities for practicing many outdoor activities, such as camel riding, climbing and trekking. We will spend a fun day full of new experiences in this wonderful region

Our trip to Merzouga begins with an off-road tour to visit an old kohl mine, where we will discover the history of this fascinating place. Then we will visit the Bedouins in their traditional hand-woven tent, where we will learn about their way of life and culture while sipping Berber tea. Afterwards, we will move on to the village of Khamlia, where we will enjoy Gnaoua music and wonderful dance performances. The inhabitants of this village come from sub-Saharan countries, which gives the place a unique cultural character. Free time for lunch at one of the local restaurants. Then we will take a tour of the palm grove, where we will enjoy the fresh air and the stunning views. Finally, we will drive a few kilometers to see the wild Lake Merzouga, also known as the Lake of the Flamingos. Dinner and overnight at the hotel

Day 4: Merzouga Desert - Rissani - Erfoud - Todra Gorge - Dades Valley

After breakfast, we will leave the magnificent desert and drive to the historic town of Rissani, the ancient capital of Tafilalt. This wonderful town is still a major commercial center in the region, with a large and lively market on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. We will explore the narrow, winding streets of the town, discovering its rich history and unique culture. We will visit the traditional markets, where we will witness the vibrant commercial activity, and enjoy the breathtaking views of the old town.

After exploring the Rissani market, we continue our journey to Erfoud, where we visit a workshop specializing in marble stone. Then, we pass through the picturesque palm groves of Trouj and Tingdad, to reach the Todgha Gorge, which forms a huge valley carved in the heart of the mountains. These gorges are an ideal destination for rock climbers, where you can explore the place and enjoy the beauty of the breathtaking landscape. There will be a break for lunch at one of the local restaurants. After that, we continue our journey to the Dades Valley, where we will visit the unique rock formations of the “Monkey Fingers”. Finally, we will spend the night at the hotel for dinner

Day 5 Dades Valley - Valley of Roses - Palm Groves of Skoura - Kasbah Amridil - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech

On the last day of our desert tour in Morocco! We continue our journey to Kalaat M’Gouna to visit the Valley of the Roses, where the Rose Festival flourishes annually in May. We will explore local rose products, from perfumes to oils and cosmetics.

Then we drive through the magnificent Kasbahs, including the Kasbah Amridil, surrounded by the palm grove of Skoura. We arrive in Ouarzazate, after free time for lunch in the city.

Afterwards, we continue our journey to Marrakech, where we will cross the Tizi-n-Tichka pass and the High Atlas Mountains. Finally, we will transfer you to your accommodation or the airport in Marrakech, the end of the five-day tour.
