Day 1: Marrakech - High Atlas Mountains - Ounil Valley - Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate

This four-day desert tour begins with an early pickup from the airport or your accommodation in Marrakech. We will drive through the stunning High Atlas Mountains, passing through the enchanting Tizi-n-Tichka Pass. We will stop at various places to enjoy the breathtaking panoramic landscape.

Next, we will visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a historic fortified village located in the heart of Morocco. This magnificent Kasbah has been listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and has been used as the backdrop for many popular films and TV series. After our visit to the Kasbah, we will move on to Ouarzazate, the gateway to the desert. There, we will spend the night in a comfortable hotel and prepare for the next journey.

Day 2: Ouarzazate - Agdz - Draa Valley - Nkoub - Rissani - Merzouga Desert - Camel ride - Night in a luxury camp

After breakfast, we will start our journey in the city of Ouarzazate, where we will visit the famous Atlas Studios, which has seen the filming of many international films. Then we will move on to the Kasbah of Taourirt, an ancient fortified mud citadel, which is distinguished by its unique architecture. After that, we will head towards Agdz, where we will join the Draa Valley, the longest river in Morocco. We will drive along the river, stopping to enjoy the magnificent panoramic views of palm groves, kasbahs and Berber villages. There will be an opportunity to have lunch in Nkoub or Nif, before continuing our journey

After lunch, we will start an excursion to the Sahara Desert in Merzouga, via the city of Rissani. Upon arrival at the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, we will join camels to explore the vast desert. We will climb to the top of a large sand dune to watch the magical sunset, which will be an unforgettable moment. Afterwards, we will continue our journey to the camp, where we will live a unique experience in the desert. You will have the opportunity to enjoy the music of Berber drums and dance around the campfire, under an open sky of bright stars. Day 3: Merzouga Desert - Rissani - Erfoud - Todra Valley - Boumalne Dades

Wake up early in the morning and you will enjoy a magical sunrise in the heart of the desert. After breakfast, we will return by camel to Merzouga, where our driver will be waiting for us. Afterwards, we will leave the desert and visit the city of Rissani, the ancient capital of Tafilalt. This vibrant city is still a major commercial center in the region, with a large and busy market on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. You will have the opportunity to explore the market and get to know the local culture

After exploring the Rissani market, we will continue our journey to Erfoud, where we will visit a workshop specializing in petrified marble. Then we will pass through the green palm groves of Trouj and Tingdad, to reach the Todgha Gorge, an ideal place for mountaineering enthusiasts. You will have the opportunity to have a relaxing moment in the beauty of nature. It is time to have dinner at one of the local restaurants. After that, we will continue our journey to the Dades Valley, through the Dades Boumin, where we will admire the magnificent formations of the “smell of monkeys”. Day 4 Dades Valley - Valley of Roses - Palm Forests of Skoura - Kasbah Amridil - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech

On the last day of our four-day desert tour, we will continue our journey to Kelaat M’Gouna to explore the Valley of the Roses. This picturesque valley is home to the annual Rose Festival, held in May. During the festival, locals showcase their exquisite rose products, including perfumes, rose water, oil and beauty products. Next, we will drive through the various Kasbahs, including the beautiful Kasbah Amridil, surrounded by palm groves in Skoura. Upon arrival in Ouarzazate, you will have the opportunity to have lunch in the city. Finally, we will continue our journey to Marrakech via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass and the High Atlas Mountains.
