Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca

Our first day begins with a warm welcome in Casablanca, the largest city in the Kingdom. We will begin our cultural tour with a visit to the Hassan II Mosque, a masterpiece of Islamic architecture. Afterwards, you will have free time for lunch and to enjoy the city views. In the afternoon, we will explore the streets of Casablanca and discover the beauty of its charming corniche. Day 2: Casablanca - Volubilis Roman Ruins - Meknes - Fes

On the morning of our second day, we depart Casablanca for Volubilis, where we discover Roman ruins dating back to the 2nd century AD. These ruins, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, reflect the beauty of ancient Roman art. Next, we travel to Meknes, the imperial city of Ismailia, where we visit historical landmarks such as Bab Mansour, the Basin of the Swani, and the Royal Stables. In the evening, we arrive in Fez, where we will spend the night in a luxurious riad.

Day 3: Guided tour of Fez

Today, we’ll explore the ancient city of Fez with a local guide, discovering its most important cultural and religious landmarks. We’ll begin our journey with a visit to the Royal Palace, then move on to the medieval medina, which has a unique character. We’ll visit the Blue Gate, the entrance to the medina, which opens onto a maze of alleys and lanes. We’ll explore the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Nejjarine Spring, the tanneries, and Al-Qarawiyyin University, the oldest university in the world. Next, we’ll visit the Jewish quarter known as the Mellah. In the evening, we’ll move to an old fort for panoramic views of Fez. Finally, we’ll return to your riad.

Day 4: Fez - Ifrane - Cedar Forest - Midelt - Ziz Valley - Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, we begin our journey south to Ifrane, a city with a cool climate and beautiful snow. We will explore its streets with their Alpine-style architecture, reminiscent of Switzerland. Next, we will visit the Cedar Forest, where we will meet Barbary macaques. We will spend some time in the forest, then continue to Midelt for lunch. In the afternoon, we will continue to the Great Merzouga Desert via the Tizi n’Telghmt Pass, where we will enjoy magnificent panoramic views. Next, we will ride camels across the sandy desert, then enjoy the sunset on top of a high sand dune. Finally, we will reach the camp, where we will enjoy Berber drumming and dancing around a campfire under a clear sky. We will spend the night at the camp, enjoying the fresh air and bright stars.

Day 5: Merzouga Desert - Rissani - Erfoud - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley

After breakfast, we begin our journey south to Ifrane, a city with a cool climate and beautiful snow. We will explore its streets with their Alpine-style architecture, reminiscent of Switzerland. We’ll explore beautiful orchards and traditional villages, and learn about the annual Rose Festival held in May. Next, we’ll travel to Skoura, where we’ll pass through beautiful palm groves. We then reach Ouarzazate, where we’ll visit the film studios that produced famous films. Next, we’ll visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, the famous fortified village, a World Heritage Site. We’ll explore its narrow streets and learn about its rich history. Finally, we’ll continue to Marrakech, passing through the Tizi-Tichka Pass and the High Atlas Mountains. We’ll stop for lunch and take photos at iconic locations. We arrive in Marrakech, where our six-day tour concludes

A camel ride in the desert can take from 45 minutes to an hour and a half.

Please let us know of any dietary preferences you may have and we will work to accommodate your needs with care. Please advise us of your preferences in advance so that we can arrange lunches and inform the chef or chefs accordingly, as dinner is included in the dietary options available in the package.

The meeting place for the tour will be at 8:00 am anywhere in Marrakech. If you are able to reach your Riad by car, we will be waiting for you there to receive you directly. In case you have difficulty arriving, we will pick you up from the nearest accessible point on the road. Please confirm your reservation to organize the perfect reception

At the end of the tour, we will transfer you to your hotel or accommodation in Fes, or to the nearest available parking. The tour usually ends between 6:00pm and 7:00pm in Fes, but the exact time may vary depending on the length of time allocated at each location.

During the camel ride, please carry only essential items. The rest of the luggage will be transported in the 4×4 luggage car, and will be available upon your arrival at the camp

You can easily exchange currencies in Morocco, where you can exchange Euros or US dollars for Moroccan dirhams at many locations including banks and currency exchange offices. There are also widespread ATMs that allow you to withdraw cash easily

Although credit cards and foreign currencies (such as Euros and US dollars) are usually accepted, it is always advisable to carry the local currency (Moroccan Dirham) to ensure convenience and ease of transactions while traveling in Morocco
