Explore northern Morocco with us on a five-day excursion from Tangier. We’ll visit Cape Spartel and the Cave of Hercules, then head to the Rif Mountains to enjoy the stunning scenery. The next day, we’ll visit the enchanting blue city of Chefchaouen, where we’ll marvel at the azure beauty that surrounds the city. We’ll then explore the Roman ruins of Volubilis, before heading to Fez and Meknes to enjoy the architectural and cultural beauty. Finally, we’ll visit the highlights of Rabat, the Moroccan capital, before concluding the tour in Casablanca.

Day 1: Arrival in Tangier - Chefchaouen

Our first day in northern Morocco begins with a welcome in Tangier, a beautiful city overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. We’ll visit the Cave of Hercules, a fascinating archaeological site, then head to Cape Spartel, where we’ll enjoy breathtaking views. After lunch, we’ll move on to Chefchaouen, the enchanting blue city, passing through Tetouan and the Rif Mountains. Overnight at a hotel in Chefchaouen.

Day 2: Sightseeing tour of Chefchaouen, the Blue City

After breakfast, we’ll begin our exploration of Chefchaouen, known for its enchanting blue colors. We’ll explore its old city, where we’ll discover the beauty of its alleyways and blue doors. You’ll have the opportunity to have lunch at a local restaurant. Next, we’ll take a walking tour to the Spanish Mosque, where we’ll enjoy a breathtaking view of the city. Finally, we’ll return to the hotel, after an enjoyable day in the beautiful city of Chefchaouen.

Day 3: Chefchaouen - Volubilis Roman Ruins - Meknes - Fes

After breakfast, we’ll begin our day by wandering through the beautiful blue alleys of Chefchaouen. We’ll then visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, featuring beautiful mosaics, columns, and ancient arches. Next, we’ll take a trip to the imperial city of Meknes, where we’ll visit Bab Mansour, the Basin of the Souani Cistern, the Royal Stables, the Granary, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Finally, we’ll travel to Fez, where we’ll spend the night in a luxurious riad

Day 4: Guided tour of Fez

After breakfast, we’ll begin our exploration of Fez, Morocco’s cultural and religious capital. We’ll visit the Royal Palace, then enter the old medina, where we’ll discover the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Nejjarine Spring, the tanneries, and the Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque and University, the oldest university in the world. Next, we’ll visit the Mellah, the Jewish quarter, before heading to an old fort for panoramic views of the city. Finally, we’ll return to your riad, after a delightful day in Fez.

Fez - Rabat - Casablanca 5 Days

On the last day of our trip to northern Morocco, we’ll leave Fez after breakfast and head to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. We’ll explore the city’s main landmarks, including the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas. After lunch, we’ll move on to Casablanca, Morocco’s economic hub, where we might visit the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Morocco. Finally, we’ll transfer you to the airport, bringing our five-day trip to northern Morocco to a close.

Please note that the 3-day desert tour from Marrakech to Fez is only a suggestion for the itinerary. If this suggestion is not what you are looking for, we are willing to organize a different itinerary according to your preferences and duration of stay. A camel ride in the desert can take from 45 minutes to an hour and a half.

Please let us know of any dietary preferences you may have and we will work to accommodate your needs with care. Please advise us of your preferences in advance so that we can arrange lunches and inform the chef or chefs accordingly, as dinner is included in the dietary options available in the package.

The meeting place for the tour will be at 8:00 am anywhere in Marrakech. If you are able to reach your Riad by car, we will be waiting for you there to receive you directly. In case you have difficulty arriving, we will pick you up from the nearest accessible point on the road. Please confirm your reservation to organize the perfect reception

At the end of the tour, we will transfer you to your hotel or accommodation in Fes, or to the nearest available parking. The tour usually ends between 6:00pm and 7:00pm in Fes, but the exact time may vary depending on the length of time allocated at each location.

During the camel ride, please carry only essential items. The rest of the luggage will be transported in the 4×4 luggage car, and will be available upon your arrival at the camp

You can easily exchange currencies in Morocco, where you can exchange Euros or US dollars for Moroccan dirhams at many locations including banks and currency exchange offices. There are also widespread ATMs that allow you to withdraw cash easily

Although credit cards and foreign currencies (such as Euros and US dollars) are usually accepted, it is always advisable to carry the local currency (Moroccan Dirham) to ensure convenience and ease of transactions while traveling in Morocco

(Haggling) Negotiating prices: Haggling or negotiating prices is an accepted practice in Morocco, and customers are expected to participate in this process. Even locals usually participate in bargaining.
