Day 1: Fes - Ifrane - Cedar Forest - Midelt - Ziz Valley Merzouga Desert

Explore the beauty of the Moroccan Sahara on a three-day excursion. Beginning with a welcome in Fez, we head south to Ifrane, known for its natural beauty and Alpine-style houses. We then continue to the Cedar Forest, where Barbary macaques live, and you can feed them while you hike through the forest. After lunch in Midelt, we head into the Sahara Desert, driving through the Tizi n’Telghemt Pass and along the Ziz River. We reach the great Merzouga Desert, where we move on to a camel ride and cross the sandy desert. You will enjoy a magical sunset over the high sand dunes, then continue to the luxury desert camp, where you can enjoy Berber drumming music while dancing around a campfire under a wide open sky of stars

Day 2 Explore Merzouga area - Bedouins - Khamlia Merzouga Lake - Erg Chebbi - Palm Grove

Wake up early to witness the magical sunrise in the middle of the desert. After breakfast, we return by camel to Merzouga, where our driver is waiting for us. We explore the magnificent area, which includes sand dunes, wild lakes, mines, fossils and wonderful oases. We start our journey with an off-road drive to visit an old kohl mine, then visit the Bedouins in their hand-woven tent and learn how they live. Afterwards, we go to the village of Khamlia, where we enjoy Gnawa music and dance performances. We get to know the villagers, who come from sub-Saharan countries. Free time for lunch, then a walk in the palm grove. Finally, we drive to the wild Merzouga Lake, also called the Lake of the Flamingos. Dinner and overnight at the hotel

Day 3: Merzouga - Rissani - Erfoud - Ziz Valley - Ifrane - Fez

Wake up early in the morning and enjoy the magical sunrise in the heart of the desert. Take advantage of the free time to have a delicious breakfast, then get ready for the next camel ride to Merzouga, where your driver is waiting for you. Afterwards, leave the desert and explore Rissani, the ancient capital of Tafilalt, and discover its large and lively souk. Continue your journey to Erfoud and visit the petrified marble workshop, then enjoy the panoramic view of the Ziz Valley. Continue driving through the cedar forest and Ifrane to reach Fes, where your journey ends with your arrival at the airport or your accommodation.
