Day 1: Marrakech - High Atlas Mountains - Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah - Valley of Roses - Boumalne Dades
Embark on a three-day excursion to the Merzouga Desert! The tour begins with a reception at Marrakech airport or your accommodation, then we begin our journey through the magnificent High Atlas Mountains, where we will enjoy the breathtaking and panoramic views of the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Get ready to explore the breathtaking beauty of nature
We will then continue our journey by visiting the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a fortified village known for its history and beauty, and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This Kasbah has been featured in numerous films and TV series, including Alexander the Great, Black Hawk Down, The Jewel of the Nile, and Game of Thrones. We will then head to the gateway to the desert in Ouarzazate for lunch and to enjoy the stunning views, then visit the Valley of Roses and the large palm grove of Skoura. Finally, we will drive to Boumalne Dades where we will spend the night and enjoy the tranquility and natural beauty of the desert.
Day 2: Dades Valley - Todgha Gorges - Merzouga Desert Camel Trek - Night in a Luxury Camp
On the second day of our exciting journey in the Moroccan desert, we drive through the Dades Valley and stop at a point overlooking the breathtaking landscape of the valley. We then continue our journey towards the Todra Valley, where the Todra River meets the mountains to form a huge valley, with a red rock protruding from the side of the slope. We invite you to enjoy the beauty of the valleys and wander in them. We then continue our drive through the palm groves of Trouj and Tingdad, stopping for lunch on the way.
In the afternoon, we will head to the Grand Merzouga Desert, where we will enjoy a camel ride across the vast sand dunes. We will stop to enjoy the magical sunset, which will be an unforgettable moment. Afterwards, we will continue our journey to the luxury desert camp, where we will enjoy Berber entertainment, drum music, and dancing around the campfire under an open sky dotted with stars. Dinner and overnight at the camp
Day 3 Merzouga Dunes - Erfoud - Midelt - Ifrane Cedar Forest - Fez
Early in the morning, enjoy the magical sunrise in the middle of the desert. Then have a Maghrib breakfast and then ride on camels or take the camp’s 4×4 vehicle back to Merzouga, where your driver is waiting for you. We then continue our journey to the city of Rissani, which is famous for its large ethnic market. After that, we will continue to Alnif, then follow the Draa Valley route until we reach Ouarzazate. Finally, we will cross the Tizi n’Tichka pass to reach Marrakech, where our 3-day desert tour ends.
