Day 1: Marrakech - High Atlas - Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou - Valley of Roses - Dades Valley
Explore the beauty of the Sahara Desert in Morocco during an enjoyable two-day tour. Your journey begins with a pick-up from the airport or your accommodation in Fez, then head south through Imouzzer to Ifrane, known for its cool climate and snow. Continue to the Cedar Forest, home to the Barbary Macaques, then transfer to Midelt for lunch. In the afternoon, continue into the Sahara Desert, where we drive through the Tizi n’Telghmt Pass and along the Ziz River. Enjoy a magical sunset over the dunes, then go on a camel ride and enjoy some quiet moments in the desert. Enjoy the music of Berber drums around a campfire under an open sky of stars. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 2: Merzouga - Rissani - Erfoud - Ziz Valley - Ifrane - Fez
Wake up early to witness the magical sunrise in the heart of the desert. Enjoy a quiet time for breakfast, then ride a camel back to Merzouga, where your driver is waiting for you. Leave the desert and head to Rissani, the ancient capital of Tafilalt, which is still a leading trading center in the region. Explore the lively souk of Rissani, open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Afterwards, head to Erfoud and visit the petrified marble workshop, where you can admire the beauty of the rocky nature.
Afterwards, we continue our journey through the Moroccan lands, driving along the banks of the Ziz River, enjoying a breathtaking panoramic view of the Ziz Valley. We then continue our journey through the beautiful cedar forest and Ifrane, until we reach the city of Fez. Finally, we transfer you to the airport or your accommodation, where our journey ends in Fez
