1st day: Arrival to Fes, guided tour sightseeing Fes

Your reception in Fez is the perfect start to your trip to Morocco! Together, we will explore the historical landmarks of Fez with a local guide. We will begin with a tour of the old medina, one of Morocco’s most ancient cities. You will visit the gate of the Royal Palace, then the medieval medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will discover the Blue Gate, or Bab Boujloud, the entrance to the medina. You will then visit the Bou Inania Medersa, the Nejjarine Spring, the tanneries, and finally the Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque and University, the oldest university in the world. Next, we will visit the Jewish quarter known as the Mellah. Later, we will visit an ancient fortress for a panoramic view of the medina and the city of Fez. Finally, we will return to your riad

Day 2: Fez - Ifrane - Cedar Forest - Midelt - Ziz Valley Merzouga Desert

After a warm breakfast, we begin our journey south through Imouzzer, where we visit Ifrane, a city characterized by its cold temperatures and snow, and its houses with Alpine architecture, which make it known as the Switzerland of Morocco. We then continue our journey to the Cedar Forest, where Barbary macaques live, and you can feed them while you wander through the forest. After that, we continue our journey to Midelt, where we will have free time for lunch. Then, we drive to Merzouga via the Tizi n’Telghmt Pass and along the Ziz Valley, stopping along the way to enjoy the panoramic views. In the afternoon, we reach the Great Merzouga Desert, where we switch to camel riding and cross the sandy desert. We will stop at the top of a high sand dune to enjoy the sunset. Finally, we continue our journey to the desert camp, which combines traditional Bedouin tents with the luxury of hotels. Here, you can enjoy Berber drumming music and dance around a campfire under a clear, starry sky. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 3: Explore the Merzouga region

Wake up early in the heart of the desert to enjoy the magical sunrise. Free time for breakfast, then return on camels to Merzouga, where your driver is waiting for you. We begin our journey to explore the Merzouga region, which boasts many amazing sites, including sand dunes, wild lakes, mines, and quarrying areas, as well as picturesque oases. First, we visit an old kohl mine, then meet Bedouins in their handwoven tent, where we learn about their traditional way of life while sipping Berber tea. Our next stop is the village of Khamlia, where we will enjoy Gnawa music and dance performances. Free time for lunch at a local restaurant, then a walk through a palm grove, before driving to see the wild Merzouga Lake, also known as the Lake of the Flamingos. Dinner and overnight at a comfortable hotel.

Day 4: Merzouga Desert - Rissani - Erfoud - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley

After breakfast, we continue our journey to Kelaat M’Gouna, where we visit the magnificent Valley of the Roses. We enjoy the annual Rose Festival, which showcases local rose products. We then pass through the palm groves of Skoura, before arriving in Ouarzazate, the gateway to the desert. We visit the famous film studios, where famous movies were filmed. Next, we visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, the fortified village listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We then continue our journey to Marrakech, passing through the Tizi Ouzou Pass and the High Atlas Mountains. We will stop for lunch and take pictures in some stunning locations. We then spend the night in a riad in Marrakech.

Day 6: Guided tour of Marrakech

After a hearty breakfast, we’ll begin our exploration of the enchanting city of Marrakech with an expert local guide. We’ll visit the magnificent Bahia Palace, a showcase of Moroccan architecture. We’ll then head to the Saadian Tombs, a marvel of architectural beauty. Next, we’ll visit the Ben Youssef Mosque, one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. We’ll also enjoy a stroll through Morocco’s largest traditional market, where we’ll discover the city’s cultural diversity. Free time for lunch near the famous Jemaa el-Fna Square. Later, we’ll visit the Koutoubia Mosque, the largest mosque in Marrakech, and the magnificent Majorelle Gardens. Finally, we’ll transfer to your accommodation, where you can enjoy a private stroll around Jemaa el-Fna.

Day 7 Marrakech - Essaouira

After breakfast, we head west to the enchanting city of Essaouira. Along the way, we’ll stop to admire the magnificent argan trees and tree-climbing goats, and to enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views. We arrive in Essaouira, formerly known as Mogador, one of Morocco’s most important coastal cities. The city is famous for its delicious seafood, beautiful beaches, and exciting surfing. We’ll visit the bustling fishing port, the ancient walls with their historic cannons, and the old medina, which tells stories from the past. Finally, we transfer to the hotel for a deeper exploration of the city and overnight in Essaouira.

Day 8: Essaouira - Casablanca - Rabat

After breakfast, we continue our ten-day trip to Casablanca, Morocco’s leading economic city. We leave Essaouira and drive along the coast, enjoying stunning sea views, until we reach Casablanca. There, we will visit the Hassan II Mosque, Morocco’s largest mosque and a magnificent architectural masterpiece. We will also visit the Casablanca Corniche, which reflects the city’s coastal beauty. Free time for lunch at a local restaurant. We then drive to Rabat, Morocco’s capital, where we will enjoy the city’s beauty and heritage. Overnight in Rabat.

Day 9: Rabat - Chefchaouen Sightseeing Tour

After breakfast, we begin our exploration of Rabat, the capital of Morocco. We will visit the Hassan Tower, the mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas, one of the city’s most prominent landmarks. Free time for lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we head north through Ouezzane to reach the blue city of Chefchaouen, nestled in the Rif Mountains. The city is famous for its blue-painted buildings and alleys, which give it a unique beauty. Overnight at a comfortable hotel in Chefchaouen, where we will prepare to explore the city the next day

Day 10: Chefchaouen - Tangier Airport

On the last day of our trip to Morocco, we will enjoy free time in the beautiful city of Chefchaouen. We will explore its narrow, blue-painted alleys and discover its breathtaking beauty. Then, we will drive through the picturesque Rif Mountains to reach the city of Tangier, located on the Atlantic coast.
